Product description
US Army troops on our territory The division was established in 1918, but did not intervene in the fighting of World War I and was soon deactivated. It was reactivated in 1942. In September 1944 it landed in France. In January 1945, the division headed to Germany, where it intervened in many battles, including the encirclement of German troops in the Ruhr Pocket The end of the war found the division in the vicinity of Düsseldorf, from where it moved to Czechoslovakia (Rokycany) in June 1945, where it remained until November. In February 1946, the division was deactivated. An interesting fact is the large number of Americans of German origin in the ranks of this unit Since 1967, this sleeve patch has been worn by members of the 94th Army Reserve Command, later the 94th Regional (Conscription) Cash Command. The area of responsibility of this command includes the states of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island This unit does not follow the tradition of the 94th Infantry Division, from which it merely took its sleeve designation Dimensions: 62 mm diameter
